We collect your data based on contract performance (purchase/license) and your consent (newsletter):
If you create your account or sign in with "Sign in with Google", we receive from Google only your basic profile: your name, your email address and your profile picture. We use it solely to create and secure your account and to show your profile. We never receive your Google password, we never post anything to your Google account, and we never sell this data or share it for advertising.
Linking a YouTube channel is optional and only concerns creators. If you choose to link one, we ask Google for read-only access to your YouTube account. Fatstep's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
What we read: your channel (identifier, name, avatar, creation date, public subscriber count, number of videos) and your own uploads (title, description, thumbnail, publication date and privacy status).
Why: to confirm that the channel really belongs to you, and to find the Fatstep licence code you placed in a video description, so we can verify that the video legitimately uses a track from our catalogue. We read nothing else, and we look at no one else's channel.
What we keep: on your profile, the channel identifier, its name, its avatar, its subscriber and video counts, its creation date and the Google address used for the link. Separately, an encrypted Google refresh token, so the check can run again without asking you to sign in every time.
What we never do: we never publish, edit or delete anything on your YouTube account. We never use your YouTube data for advertising, we never sell it, we never use it to train models, and we share it with no one outside the subprocessors listed in Article 3.
Withdrawing your consent: you can unlink your channel at any time from your Fatstep profile, and you can revoke Fatstep's access directly from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Using YouTube through Fatstep is also governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
